The nouns should be circled in red and the adjectives in yellow. Nouns appear in bold print and adjectives are underlined.
Sally ate a large, yellow pear.
The beaver had sleek, brown fur.
A small kitten pounced on the toy.
Edmonton is a large city.

Answers will vary. Each sentence should include the noun and an appropriate adjective to describe the noun. Sentences should begin with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. High-frequency words should be spelled correctly.
